IHP is the first online system to automate many of these best practices, and make them accessible from one central system. Using IHP you can:
- Prescribe medically-based exercise using a catalog of evidence-based, best practice exercise programs which target specific health and fitness conditions.
- Automate assessments such as the Functional Fitness Test to assess your members' functional fitness balance and potential risk for falls using the system calculated results
- Use medical history intake forms and assessments developed in collaboration with organizations such as the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the Center for Successful Aging, at California State University Fullerton.
- Provide your members access to tools such as the target heart rate calculator, created using the medically-based Karvonen formula which takes into account your resting heart rate.
